I actually found this a really difficult task to do, struggling with the idea of boasting about myself to an employer / organisation.
However, I wanted my CV to stand out and so chose a really unique design for the layout of it and created a series of pages with the same header so that if an employer was handling the pages they wouldn't loose any.
Having not kept a rolling list of awards and publications I have received or been involved in, I spent a long time tracing these down and adding them into my CV. I also wanted to include a mini portfolio with my application as I feel that some skills lend themselves to being shown visually over verbally.
On reflection I am glad that writing a CV was a graded section of the module this semester as it forced me to create something which I can keep adding to over the years.
